For regular savings accounts at HDFC Bank branches located in metros and urban areas, customers are required to save an average monthly savings of Rs 10,000. In semi-urban (semi-urban) branches, customers have to keep an average of Rs 5,000 in their accounts.

The average monthly balance for regular savings accounts in HDFC Bank’s metro and urban branches is Rs 10,000.

According to the HDFC Bank website, customers in semi-urban branches are required to maintain a monthly average (AMB) balance of 5000.

HDFC Bank customers in rural branches are required to maintain a quarterly balance (ABQ) of Rs 2500.

HDFC Bank charges up to Rs 150-600 (excluding taxes) for insufficient balance in regular savings accounts in metro, urban and semi-urban branches.
