What does the future hold for the Byrd family? This is the question every Ozark fan has in mind before the release of season three of the growing crime drama on Netflix.
Season two saw Marty and Wendy getting their hands dirty more than ever – and it seems that the downward spiral is set to continue for a few years if director and star Jason Bateman has it. There is nothing to do.
When is Ozark coming back for season 3?
The good news here! Ozark star Bateman has confirmed on Twitter that the show would return for a 10-episode third season, however, bad news, we still don’t know if it is going to air worldwide on Netflix.

Season “1” debuted in June, while season 2 came out in late August 2018 – but it is understood that hat production is not running on season three until March 2019, so it is unlikely that the third instalment is due at the earliest from 2020 First fall on Netflix.
The best things come to those who wait, so they say!

* UPDATE * – In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter in August, listener Chris Mundy has stated that the new season will do its best to bring Ruth Langmore closer to the Bairdes, and see Marty plunge further into the darkness.

Ruth, trust us: it’s not.
As Jason Bateman’s money-laundering hero, he said: “Marty is on a slippery slope, but he’s not down yet.”
Mundy has said that the show will see Marty and Wendy Brede struggling with their power and “dealing with outside forces”. He also confirmed that Wendy’s brother “who we indicated in the first few years that there is some kind of mental illness in the past”, will be added to the cast, and is set to cause a stir.
“[That] is going to be a very volatile factor,” he said.
Marty Bred and his family get caught up in the criminal venture in season two, meaning there is plenty of stories left to explore in future seasons.
Marty’s massive casino boat was inaugurated at the finale, which he would use to take a multi-million dollar loan for the Mexican drug cartel.
A mysterious gunman shotted Cade Langmore, and many wanted him dead who could order the murder, including his daughter Ruth, his nephew Wyatt and Marty.
