Fortnite developer Epic Games and entertainment giant Disney has once again set out to offer fight fans a new event.
This time, however, it is not Marvel’s Avengers that has taken a break for the mega-popular title, but the Star Wars Star villain Galactic Empire. In fact, due to small rumours like yesterday, players going about their business on the island of Apollo noticed a strange object in the night sky, as the clocks would last until midnight.
The stars above it may have a blurred, triangular shape, but there is no fault in the star destroyer. Opening the space cruiser from the ground up is a tall order; however, it is your best chance to get a first glimpse while riding the Battle Bus. Alternatively, you can see the picture below, courtesy of the leading leaker HYPEX.
As included in this particular collaboration, well, not too much, if we are honest. There is a good chance that there will be more development over the next few days, but for now, the only real change, other than the one seen above, is a new addition to the for-in-game store. From now until November 17, fans can purchase a new Stormtrooper skin for their player avatar, meaning that you have just two days to show your loyalty to the Emperor.
Sadly, that small window of availability leads us to believe that there is something else on the card for this special relationship but never say never.
If, for whatever reason, you are unable to grab your Stormtrooper gear before the above deadline, don’t despair right now. As of November 30, buying any version of Rispna’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will net you the organization as a free bonus.
Speaking of which, the eagerly awaited single-player adventure for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC is out today. Keep your eyes open for our review.
