2020 Genesis G90 Brings Its Major Facelift To Los Angeles Auto Show

Just like we said back in November 2018, the changes are so significant that you can be confident that this is the next-generation model. This is not the case as we are treated to a massive refresh for a car starting in life as the Hyundai Equus.

The focal point is without a shadow of a doubt the new and rather large “Crest” grille, which Hyundai’s luxury division refers to as quad headlights, as daytime running lights light them.

Even the hood and front fenders have been replaced, and it includes those faux side vents new for the 2020 model year. Both have an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive as standard, but the AWD will be available as an option.

The rear of the larger sedan looks more sophisticated than before, especially the redesigned taillights with a full-width light bar running over the lid of the entire trunk to lend the G90 more street presence at night Thank You for.

The grille-shaped integrated rear spoiler and dual exhaust tips are also new with a mid-cycle refresh, while optional 19-inch wheels come with sound absorption technology to reduce tire noise.

Inside the cabin, modifications are less drastic. There is a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for over-the-air updates, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration.

Active noise cancellation is what its name says, while the adaptive control suspension has electronic damping controls to enable a silky-smooth ride.
It is also worth noting that the newly added safety systems have a plethora of: lane following assistance, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assistance, forward collision-avoidance assistance, safe exit assistance, and highway driving assistance.

The 2020 Genesis G90 will go on sale in the US next month in two flavours: a 3.3T Premium with a 3.3-litre turbocharged V6 and a 5.0 Ultimate with a 5.0-litre V8.

The former will get 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet (510 newton-meter) of torque, while the latter will supply 420 hp and 383 pound-feet (519 Nm).
