Everything you need to know about” Dying Light 2″trailers, release date and Cast

Dying Light two is coming as you’re probably aware by now. Following this game’s first, and ongoing, success, it will not come as much surprise that a sequel is. It is scheduled to arrive in Spring 2020.

If you merely want the fast facts, you don’t need to look any further this page, dedicated to of the critical information on platforms the Dying Light 2 launch date, and more. We’ll be updating this with new details continually from the lead up to the game’s launch also, so make sure you bookmark it and keep checking back in for the latest news and gossip about the zombie game that could rule the rest of the zombie games.

The Dying Light 2 release date is Spring 2020

Despite initially being pegged to a 2019 launch, the Dying Light 2 release date has been slightly pushed back to a vague “Spring 2020” window. That period could range from anywhere between March to June, but hopefully, it veers further towards the earlier range, as we’re not sure how much longer we can wait.

The delayed-release date was announced alongside a new gameplay trailer seen above, which gives us our first proper look at infected protagonist Aiden Caldwell, the new open world of The City, and the narrative sandbox storytelling systems at play. Check it out above, and don’t tell me you’re not excited.

Techland has also confirmed Dying Light 2 will also launch on PS5 and Xbox Project Scarlett when they are released too, so prepare for beautiful gore to get even more glistening.

Dying Light 2 takes place 15 years after the first game

Techland has Clarified the Period of Time of Dying Light Two as the”new Dark ages”, in which the zombie apocalypse has hauled society back to a Hobbesian state of nature, and humanity is at least as likely to kill itself than be eaten up from the hordes of undead parading the streets of Harran (the Turkish-set city by the first game).

As for who you will be Playing as that is unclear, but it sounds like voice celebrity that is noted Troy Baker in these trailers so that this new protagonist will be Somewhat more earthly than Dying Light’s archetypal snooze-fest Kyle Crane.

Despite the absence of any release date, Techland was more than happy to show off several minutes of direct gameplay footage at E3 2018, which implies that the game is very much in the final stages of production.

Naturally, the updated visuals look stunning, and Techland seems to be making the most of the Xbox One X to show off all those vibrant colours and sharply drawn skylines. The demo also gives you a good idea of the game’s updated parkour and combat mechanics, so it’s well worth a watch for any interested fan.

Exclusive Dying Light 2 concept art gives you a first proper look at the new zombies, setting, and more

You can’t have a game without featuring the walking dead themselves called Dying Light 2. topbuzztrends + has the first scoop about the corpses showing off a Peacekeeper enemy while Techland has been coy about discussing information about its new spin on the infected.

“We have this entire cycle of infected lifestyle in the sport” explains Dying Light 2’s Lead Game Designer Tymon Smektała. “The infected beginning as a Viral, that can be somebody who only got bitten and just got infected, so that they still show traces of humanity, and at this point, they are extremely fast, very dangerous — they avoid the sun at all costs. But after a while in that condition, they become what we call Biters, that are your routine zombies; slowly moving infected that, if able, will attempt to grab you and affect you or eat you, but the sunlight is dangerous for them, and they’re not as quick as agile as the Virals.

“And when Biters stay in the sun for a long-time period or even under a UV light, they become Degenerates; sterile zombies that are extremely weak with bits of flesh falling off of them, so they’re not really that harmful to you. But you have to keep a watch for them since Dying Light 2 is a game, a lot of things happen emergently. And there’s a path of evolution for the Infected in which they turn to the Volatiles, that are the most extreme night predators. You only have to run if you see them. There is no battling with those guys since they will only kill you.”

But wait. Techland recently published yet more concept artwork that topbuzztrends+ could only reveal you in the lead up to E3 2019, displaying a dilapidated theme park (seen above) that is no uncertainty host to all manner of nastiness. The corresponding description of the artwork reads as follows:

“Players are responsible for shaping the world of Dying Light 2. Areas, districts will be influenced by player options. Dying Light two will make you make decisions, and the result can be sudden. This scene depicts – one great deed may end in destruction. This theme park, after a bustling, vibrant district, today sits in ruins, the oversize Octopus appeal mirroring the famous Ferris wheel in Pripyat, near Chernobyl.”
