A new image from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier offers fans their first look at Bucky’s new outfit. The first show for Disney + of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set for debut fall of next season and will see Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson team up with Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes to their very own adventure.
Generation is in full swing, giving fans the chance to capture a glimpse of what the heroes will appear like from the series.
Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the show will also feature the return of several familiar faces from the franchise, such as primary villain Baron Zemo (Daniel Brühl) – the mastermind behind the events of Captain America: Civil War, Emily VanCamp’s Sharon Carter.
Wyatt Russell will play John Walker aka. U.S. Agent, with new castings being verified until this day. Not much is known regarding the show’s narrative, but according to what has been revealed so far, it will have something to do with Sam assuming the Captain America mantle after Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) personally chose him as his successor.
Fans have seen Mackie on the set of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier – in civilian clothes. This time, it however he’s sporting what sounds like his new fight lawsuit, alongside a transparent look at his arm that is altered. The image had been shared on Twitter with a user using the handle @yelenatswhore, and she claims that her teacher caught the picture. Check it out below:

Far from the things known for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier revolves around the role of Sam in the show. Rumour has it that the series will centre on the authorities not wanting him to be another Captain America.
But considering that Bucky can also be a headlining personality, it is safe to assume that fans will spend a significant amount of time with him as he moves on an arc.
It is hard to gauge what Stan has shot his armour given that there is no circumstance given for the image, and of course that it appears it’s captured in-between filming, but yet, fans are pleased to see the actor with his entire costume on.
Besides his metal arm – a visual reminder of his days as a HYDRA operative, this appearance on Bucky is reminiscent of his look during Captain America: The First Avenger from 2011. There is no official word about it, but it might be a sign that anything he is going through in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be his path to salvation.
At his core, he was a good man while he’d been involved in a lot of shady dealings, even killing Howard and Maria Stark. With Zemo’s return, it’s uncertain if they’ll attempt to activate his Winter Soldier character the same he did in Civil War, but it’s going be a great reveal whether the series verifies that his rehabilitation has been completed and is no longer influenced by the litany of words which effectively hypnotizes him to become his villainous character.
